Artist's Description

This large painting is on sand tells the story of a young slave girl, preparing to Wade on the Water, take a leap of faith, and run. In the moonlight we see supportive figures around her clapping in a Shout Ring. Her dress becomes one with the water as she enters. Making herself one with the night is her pathway to freedom. Even Valentino ate Apples, Great American Playboy, Not So Mad Housewife, Ecalypso were all produced during this...
